World Cup 2026: Belgium and England escape elimination against Senegal and DR COngo

They were two of the most thrilling games at the World Cup so far. Tears of joy for some, and of sadness and shock for others. Senegal were four minutes away from securing a place in the Round of 16 before Belgium turned their 2-0 deficit around and won in extra time. DR Congo stunned England when they opened the score in the 7th minute and were a threat throughout the tie. But it was Harry Kane who saved the day for the Three Lions as he scored both goals to seal the 2-1 comeback.
