Video: Palestinians in Gaza mark 1,000 days since Israel launched full-scale war on Gaza Displaced Palestinians in Deir el-Balah, central Gaza, marked 1,000 days since Israel began its genocide on the besieged strip, following the Hamas-led attack in southern Israel on 7 October 2023. According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israel has killed over 73,000 Palestinians since October 2023. More than 21,500 of those killed in Gaza were children, including 1,022 babies. A further 9,500 people are missing, many believed to be buried under rubble, while 173,514 have been wounded.
