Israeli strikes kill at least nine in Gaza

Israeli strikes kill at least nine in Gaza Israeli strikes on different locations in Gaza killed at least nine people and wounded 20 others, Palestinian health officials said on Sunday. One strike hit next to a large tent encampment of displaced families in Khan Younis in the south of the enclave, killing five and wounding 16 others. Later on Sunday, a separate Israeli air strike killed four people and wounded four others when it hit a vehicle driving through the middle of Gaza City. The Israeli attacks come as mediators in Egypt begin new efforts to resucitate the US-brokered ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
