Israel has struck Beirut following rockets the Israeli military says were sent by Hezbollah, in a blow to the ceasefire introduced two months prior. The flare-up comes despite a call for restraint from US President Donald Trump, who is anxious to show his domestic audience he cannot be pushed around by Israel.
