Israeli attack wounds nine Palestinians in southern Gaza At least nine Palestinians, including children, were wounded in an Israeli military attack on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

The injured were taken to the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s al-Mawasi field hospital for treatment, the report said.

More than 174,682 Palestinians have been wounded and at least 73,670 killed in Israel’s war on Gaza since 7 October 2023, according to Gaza’s health ministry figures.

Thousands of others, presumed to be dead, remain buried under rubble as efforts to retrieve bodies have been hampered by Israel's blockade on rescue equipment needed for such operations.
