DR Congo says Ebola outbreak has passed its peak

More than 3,510 people have died from Ebola in eastern DR Congo since the outbreak was declared four months ago, with Ituri accounting for 78% of confirmed cases.

Congolese authorities say the epidemic has now passed its peak, pointing to signs that the outbreak is beginning to slow.
