Mexican activists call for end to water agreements with Israel Mexican activists have called on the government to end its cooperation agreements with Israel and safeguard the country's water resources. During a demonstration on Saturday, the protesters linked opposition to a water management agreement in the state of Chihuahua with protests against Israel's actions in Gaza. Civil organizations, environmentalists, and Palestine-solidarity collectives from at least 14 states of the country had called for a national march on 1 August to protest against the water cooperation agreement signed between the Central Water and Sanitation Board (JCAS) of Chihuahua and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Mexico Solidarity Media.
