Centcom says US military completes seventh consecutive wave of strikes on Iran US Central Command (Centcom) said it struck Iranian surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage facilities and maritime assets in its seventh consecutive wave of attacks overnight on 17-18 July. In a statement posted on X, Centcom said US forces used fighter aircraft, drones, warships and other military assets in the operation. "Centcom continues to hold Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief's direction while fully enforcing a naval blockade against Iranian ports," the statement said. It added that more than 50,000 US service members are operating across the Middle East and remain "vigilant, lethal, and ready".
