Hamas disarming would be 'first concrete step to re-energise peace plan', but questions remain
Israel will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until Hamas's "genuine disarmament", a political source told AFP on July 31, after the group said it had agreed to a deal involving its disarmament and Israel's exit. But officially, the country has stayed silent regarding the agreement.
