One killed, five wounded in shooting attack in Israel One person has been killed and five others wounded in a series of shooting attacks in central Israel, an Israeli police spokesperson has confirmed. The shootings reportedly struck civilians at several locations near the entrance to Kokhav Ya’ir. The police said that one suspect was "neutralized", and are currently searching for another. The Israeli military says it has deployed troops to the area, while the Israeli Home Front Command has instructed residents of the Tzur Yitzhak settlement to remain indoors until further notice. Emergency teams said they had treated two men who were injured at a gas station near Kochav Ya’ir, one of them seriously. A man and a woman were also moderately injured near Tzur Yitzhak. Two men were shot near Tzur Natan- one, aged 31 was killed, while another in his 40s was transferred to hospital in critical condition.
