Iranian drones strike two US bases in Kuwait, report says Kuwait’s Ali Al-Salem base and Camp Udairi came under attack of Iranian army’s kamikaze drones during the 16th phase of Operation Sa'eqeh (Thunderbolt), Iranian media reported. IRNA said Camp Udairi is one of the major US bases in the region, located about 104 kilometres from Iran’s borders, serving as a key support and reorganization centre for American forces. Ali Al-Salem Air Base serves as the main air transportation hub and the gateway for military forces entering the West Asia region, IRNA said. US jets bomb Shadegan, Qeshm: US jets, meanwhile, struck a location near the city of Shadegan in Iran’s southwestern Khuzestan province, according to the Iran’s Tasnim news agency. Two more explosions were heard in Qeshm Island after another round of US strikes, Tasnim reported.
