Drop Site: Settlers establish outpost at site of deadly attack on Palestinian town

Drop Site: Settlers establish outpost at site of deadly attack on Palestinian town Israeli settlers established a new outpost less than 24 hours after four Palestinians were killed and four others wounded in an attack on the town of Tel, southwest of Nablus, according to Drop Site News. Drop Site reported that a contractor, placed on the sanctioned list by the UK for violence against Palestinians, uprooted hundreds of olive trees at the site before settlers erected the outpost. The contractor was identified as Harel Libi. According to Drop Site, his company brought in more than 10 excavators within hours of the attack and began clearing the village's olive groves. Videos filmed by the settlers and cited by Drop Site showed them describing plans to expand their presence. In one clip, a settler points to a caravan and says it will "strip bare the land" and establish more farms, while another says: "The party is over, soon the village is going down too." By the following morning, settlers had built an outpost on the site of the attack, with families already moving in, Drop Site said. 2/6 The contractor is Harel Libi — placed on the UK sanctions list for violence against Palestinians.
