Iranian Defence Ministry spokesperson warns of new 'surprises' on battlefield The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General Reza Talaei‑Nik, stated that Iran has prepared new weapons and 'surprises' for the battlefield in the event of future war, the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.

According to the IRNA report, the spokesperson said that despite the losses, the recent wars have fostered opportunity for industrial and defense-related progress.

Talei-Nik told IRNA that Iranian arms production has doubled since the '12 day war,' when Israel launched air strikes against Iran in June of 2025.
