Hezbollah chief says it will continue pressure until Israel withdraws from Lebanon

Hezbollah chief says it will continue pressure until Israel withdraws from Lebanon Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem has urged the Lebanese government to abandon the Israel-Lebanon framework agreement signed in Washington, calling it “null”, a “humiliation” and a surrender of sovereignty. Qassem said in a statement on Saturday that Hezbollah would continue to push for Israel to withdraw troops from occupying Lebanon, adding that any attempt to link this requirement to demanding the group’s disarmament would cross “red lines”. He suggested that the agreement should be replaced by the Iran-US memorandum of understanding.
