Board of Peace chief says mediators working ‘around the clock’ on Gaza Nickolay Mladenov, chief of the US-backed “Board of Peace”, said on Sunday that “intense efforts” to secure an agreement on implementing President Donald Trump’s plan were under way as two days of Israeli strikes across Gaza have killed "civilians and destroyed medical supplies that people depend on.” “Both parties carry obligations under the Comprehensive Plan and the Sharm El Sheikh deal that secured the release of all hostages.
