Bailey Says BOE Decided to Keep Rates at 3.75% in July

Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey speaks at a news conference in London following the central bank's decision to keep interest rates unchanged in July as UK officials sought to balance the threat from resurgent US-Iran tensions against signs that domestic price pressures are easing more quickly than predicted. "We will monitor the situation carefully and stand ready to adjust our stance as the evidence and our judgements on the outlook evolve," Bailey says. (Source: Bloomberg)
