Netanyahu aims to expand Israel's seizure of Gaza to 70 percent

Netanyahu aims to expand Israel's seizure of Gaza to 70 percent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday signaled plans for Israel to control 70 percent of the Gaza Strip. "We currently control 60 percent of the Gaza Strip, and my directives are to move toward controlling 70 percent," the Israeli premier said during a seminar in the Jordan Valley. Currently, Israel has expanded its seizure of Gaza to 60 percent of the territory, despite the ceasefire that envisaged a gradual Israeli withdrawal from all of Gaza.
