Israeli settlers attack NBC News team, wound Palestinian woman near Nablus Masked Israeli settlers attacked an NBC News team and a Palestinian woman on Saturday in Jalud, a village near Nablus in the occupied West Bank that has been the scene of relentless settler violence in recent weeks.

The crew was interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, who had been forced from her home by settlers, when a car with Israeli plates reversed toward them.

Masked men armed with sticks jumped out, beating members of the crew and throwing rocks before fleeing. Abdullah, 51, had non-life-threatening injuries but remained in the hospital.

Four NBC staffers, a correspondent, cameraman, producer and driver, were also hurt while their camera equipment and vehicle were damaged.
