Israeli minister confirms Iron Dome battery deployed to UAE during war

Israeli minister confirms Iron Dome battery deployed to UAE during war Israel deployed an Iron Dome battery to the UAE early in the war with Iran, Israeli media reported. Israel’s transportation minister Miri Regev told Army Radio, “They understood that the ballistic missiles were one of the biggest challenges.” The Times of Israel reported that Regev is the first Israeli official to publicly state that the missile defence system was sent to the UAE after Axios first reported the move in April. In May, US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee had confirmed the deployment of a battery to the Gulf nation, which became the most targeted country in the region. UAE defence ministry reported as many as 550 Iranian missiles and 2,200 drone attacks on the country during the war.
