Earlier on Saturday, Israeli military said they had responded to clashes involving "Israeli rioters" in Qusra, where settlers had besieged a Palestinian home and attacked residents in several other homes. Israeli forces said they removed the settlers from the besieged Palestinian house and would remain in the area to prevent further clashes. However, Palestinian residents said Israeli forces had instead tried to arrest Palestinians who were still trapped inside the besieged home. A fourth house in Qusra was also targeted by Israeli settlers later on Saturday. Israeli soldiers then arrived and fired tear gas at Palestinian residents inside, wounding the homeowner.
