Mecca pact's first trilateral meeting to be held in Istanbul on Monday The first meeting under the defence pact signed by Turkey , Saudi Arabia and Pakistan , known as the Mecca Agreement, will be held in Istanbul on Monday, according to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The foreign ministers of Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be in attendance, as well as their defence ministers and military chiefs. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have signed the joint pact in Mecca earlier this month. Under the pact, an attack on any one signatory is treated as an attack on all of them.
