Pentagon signs seven-year deals to boost missile production
Pentagon signs seven-year deals to boost missile production The US Pentagon said on Monday it had secured seven-year agreements with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems and Lockheed Martin to increase missile production. The agreements aim to “increase production quantities and accelerate delivery schedules” for critical missile components used in the THAAD and Patriot PAC-3 MSE interceptor programmes, the Pentagon said. The move comes as demand for US missile defence systems has increased amid escalating conflicts and growing concerns over missile threats in the Middle East and beyond.
