IRGC say US will 'regret' renewed attacks Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed that the US will "regret" its fresh attacks on the country, despite US President Donald Trump warning Tehran against striking back. "Severe punishment awaits the aggressors; the United States will regret its new attacks," spokesman Hossein Mohebi said in a post on X, after explosions were heard in multiple areas along and east of the Strait of Hormuz. Citing a senior Iranian military source, Tasnim news agency also reported that Iran will respond to US attacks with a response "several times larger", targeting US bases and interests in the region.
