The findings also indicated declining support for President Donald Trump’s decision to wage war, with few respondents favouring a prolonged conflict. Only two in 10 adults supported continuing US military operations against Iran. Three in 10 said Washington should halt its attacks and pursue another ceasefire through negotiations. The results point to growing public opposition as the war continues to drain US military resources and destabilise the wider Middle East.
