Report: Israeli settlers spend full day inside occupied Syrian territory A group of Israeli settlers illegally crossed the border into Syria and spent a full day there before being apprehended by Israeli troops on Friday, according to the Times of Israel.

This was the latest of several recent incidents in which settlers have entered the Syrian territory occupied by Israel’s army.

The settlers, who had crossed the border near Majdal Shams, were handed over to the Israeli police for questioning, the Israeli military said, according to the TOI.
