Iran says four projectiles hit cities east of Hormuz Strait The deputy governor for security and law enforcement in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province said on Tuesday that four projectiles struck the southeastern cities of Chabahar and Konarak, east of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's IRNA news agency. He added that assessments of possible damage are under way. Iran’s Fars news agency also reported that several explosions were heard in Konarak, while the exact location remains unclear, following earlier reports of explosions heard east of Bandar Abbas. The US military announced on Tuesday that it was carrying out new strikes on Iran.
