IRGC hits Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base, Qatar 'intercepts missile' The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said its aerospace force had targeted US military facilities at Jordan's Prince Hassan Air Base, according to Iran's state broadcaster, IRIB.

The IRGC said it fired several missiles at the base, claiming to have destroyed a command-and-control centre and hangars housing MQ-9 drones.

In an update, Qatar's Ministry of Defence said its armed forces had "intercepted a missile attack which targeted" the country.

The ministry had earlier said the country's security threat level was high and urged people to follow safety instructions and remain inside their homes or in safe places.
