EU and UK slap sanctions on Russian spies and hackers over cyberattacks

The EU and Britain on Monday imposed coordinated sanctions on Russian military intelligence officials and private companies over a major cyberespionage campaign targeting European infrastructure in a bid to destabilise the EU and its partners.
