Natural gas loses momentum despite geopolitical risks: Will prices recover?

Natural gas prices remain subdued despite Middle East tensions, as abundant U. S.

production, rising LNG supplies and healthy inventories outweigh geopolitical concerns. Weather-driven demand has also weakened following the winter rally.

While near-term prices may remain rangebound, growing LNG exports, Asian demand, power generation and natural gas’s role in the energy transition offer longer-term support.
