Iran says it launched drone attacks on US base in Bahrain The Iranian military said that it targeted a US base in Bahrain with a large-scale drone attack, according to a statement carried by Tasnim news agency on Tuesday. The army said the strikes were carried out on radar installations and areas where it says US forces are stationed at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, a key base in the Gulf used to house reconnaissance aircraft, and as a maintenance centre for helicopters and drone components.
