The incident was separate from an earlier attack in Zeitoun, in which four Palestinians were killed and another was critically wounded. Sources at Gaza hospitals said Israeli raids across several areas of the Gaza Strip had killed 24 Palestinians since yesterday. Since dawn, Israeli raids on Gaza City have killed 10 Palestinians, including three children.
