White House rejects UN report on potential US war crimes in Iran
White House rejects UN report on potential US war crimes in Iran The White House has dismissed a UN human rights report which found “reasonable grounds” to believe the US committed war crimes in two strikes in Iran on 28 February, including intentionally targeting a girls' school in the southern city of Minab.
US spokesperson Anna Kelly said the UN’s Human Rights Council has “accomplished nothing for human rights while spouting unserious nonsense for decades”, according to remarks carried by The Washington Post on Thursday.
“The only party in this conflict that has committed war crimes is the Iranian regime,” Kelly added.
