Yemeni government to launch military campaign to reclaim Houthi-controlled territory Yemen's internationally recognised government will launch military operations in a bid to recover Houthi-controlled territory, the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council chair Rashad al-Alimi has confirmed.
Al-Alimi announced in a televised address on Sunday "the start of military operations to recover what remains of the Republic’s lands and to extend the authority of the state and its institutions".
