US and Iranian technical teams to meet again in Switzerland US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says technical teams from the United States and Iran are expected to meet again in Switzerland on 29 and 30 June.
According to Rubio, the discussions will focus on Iran's nuclear enrichment programme. He said the current negotiations are not addressing Iran's ballistic missile programme or delivery systems.
Instead, Washington's priority remains ensuring that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.
Rubio added that the US believes recent military action has sufficiently degraded Iran's capabilities, allowing the talks to concentrate on what he described as the most important issue from Washington's perspective: the nuclear file.
