Gianni Infantino: French Football Federation withdraws support for FIFA chief
The French Football Federation (FFF) announced Thursday it is withdrawing its support for embattled FIFA boss Gianni Infantino and his bid for reelection as head of football’s governing body.
Infantino has faced growing calls to step down over his aborted plan to sell stakes in the World Cup and other football associations, including those of England and Italy, have already withdrawn their backing.
