• Iraq ordered the closure of the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran as a precautionary measure after the latest drone attacks on Saudi Arabia.

• Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian has said Iran’s resistance to the US and Israel was rooted in its opposition to bullying and its support for the oppressed people.

• The Muslim World League and Bahrain have condemned the drone attacks originating from Iraq on the East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia.

• US forces have redirected 99 commercial vessels as of 11 September as part of its ongoing naval blockade of Iran.
