Turkey detains dozens in raids on gay bars, homes in crackdown on LGBTQ activists
Turkish authorities on Sunday launched raids on gay bars, nightclubs, offices of LGBTQ associations and homes of activists in a sweeping crackdown in several cities as part of the government's "My Family is Safe" operations, said Turkey's justice minister.
More than 60 people were arrested, according to the state news agency, in raids condemned by human rights groups.
